Founded in December 2023, Akanji Studio is a platform raising awarenesss about sickle cell through art, poetry and storytelling. Since its inception Akanji has touched the lives of thousands.

Building on the impact of Akanji’s work, we’re hosting a three day exhibition showcasing the incredible work and talents of those living with sickle cell, whilst raising awareness amongst those in the wider society
