London-based multidisciplinary artists Kome Eleyae and G3negraphy present A Quiet Leap Forward, a new collaborative exhibition exploring the emotional experience of coming of age in London.

Opening at Copeland Gallery on 13 August 2026, the exhibition brings together a striking collection of mixed-media works that move between moments of chaos and calm, inviting audiences to pause, reflect and connect with the quiet experiences that shape who we become.
In a city that rarely slows down, A Quiet Leap Forward captures the emotional complexity of growing up through constant change. Blending painting, photography, poetry and layered materials, the exhibition offers moments of stillness amid London's relentless pace, exploring identity, vulnerability, resilience and the quiet beauty of becoming.

Alongside the collaborative works, the exhibition also features a selection of individual pieces by each artist that expand on these shared themes through their distinct creative practices, giving audiences a deeper insight into their individual artistic voices.
At the heart of A Quiet Leap Forward is an ongoing creative dialogue between Kome Eleyae and G3negraphy. G3negraphy captured much of the exhibition's photography, while Kome Eleyae directed the shoots and photographed several of the featured physical works. These photographic foundations, alongside memories and found objects, are transformed into richly layered artworks. Eleyae brings figures to life through oil and acrylic, while both artists build immersive, atmospheric environments using a range of materials to evoke what they describe as the "emotional temperature" of each piece.

Together, the works inhabit the delicate space between noise and solitude, where identity is still taking shape and every experience can feel both fragile and deeply significant. As the artists describe it, the exhibition reflects the feeling of being "one misstep away from misfortune and just a slice of luck away from bliss."

Rather than telling one singular story, A Quiet Leap Forward presents a series of emotional snapshots that will resonate with anyone who has experienced change, searched for belonging or found themselves somewhere between who they once were and who they are becoming. It is an exhibition that embraces both the uncertainty of youth and the quiet hope that continues to carry us forward.
