Before we move into the second part of the year, the ourppls team are reflecting on our year opening event 'Review & Reset'. Growth in every facet requires reflection. We all need and deserve time that nurtures being still. This was the sole purpose of 'Review & Reset'.

'Review & Reset' was an intentional space built to connect our community—not just to us, but to one another. More than just a gathering, it was an opportunity to collectively reflect on the year behind us and reset our energy, goals, and visions for the year ahead.

Curated with care, the event welcomed some of the culture’s leading entrepreneurs, creatives, and brand builders. It was a space to pause, debrief, and engage in honest conversations about what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next. About what we need as creatives but also as young Global Majority people working their way in an industry not built with us in mind.

At the center of the experience was our workshop session—thoughtfully designed to encourage collaboration, build community, and spark fresh thinking.

Group tasks and guided activities kept attendees engaged and working side by side. Together, they brainstormed, problem-solved, and exchanged ideas. This wasn’t a lecture, this was a space where every perspective mattered.

We’ve always believed in the power of conversation. When community comes together to think, create, and share with intention, powerful things happen. This event was proof of that. We will all benefit from a more collaborative, creative, and culturally rooted network.

A meaningful touch throughout the day was our Adinkra Affirmation Cards, placed around the space as spiritual anchors. These symbols of ancestral wisdom helped ground the room, reminding us of the values we carry forward.

We’re grateful to everyone who showed up, shared openly, and leaned into the experience. This is how we build - together. We’re excited for what’s to come as we host more in-person events.
